I saw a couple of awesome Nurses and a Heather as well and I was fangirling them. For a couple of years I used to run a Silent Hill panel at AN. I keep hoping that the Silent Hill Cosplay community will expand here in Toronto. It's so much fun to Cosplay from the SH games. Anyway, awesome work on the Pyramid Head costume and good luck with your future Cosplay plans!

I ran into the Heather on Friday in the Doubletree. She did a great job on her costume! Yeah, in previous years I ran a Silent Hill panel with my friend. It was through the panel that I met one of my best friends who was dressed as Maria at the panel. The panels went really well but I decided to take a break from the Silent Hill one and I assisted with a Resident Evil panel until last year. This year we all decided to take a break from running panels and no one else ran a survival horror one. Maybe we'll start them up again next year. We had a great turnout for the panels that we ran.

Where's the survivalhorror love? And I can imagine wanting a break from running panels every single year and joining in on all the other stuff.

Those sound really interesting though, I'd love to see such panels and the cosplayers who went to them!

Maybe one day I'll run my own xD although that's probably just words of a shirker.

The survival horror love is actually growing believe it or not! For the last couple of years I couldn't find enough people interested to organize a survival horror shoot, but this year the official Resident Evil photoshoot had over 20 Cosplayers. Maybe next year I'll put in to organize an official survival horror shoot.

If you're interested you should totally sign up for a survival horror or Silent Hill panel next year! It's actually a lot of fun to host a panel and people get really into the discussion. (^^)

Wow, really? That's interesting.

And as much as I'd like to sign up, this was my first year at AN and I was only there for Saturday. Next year I'm dedicating the weekend to seeing/doing as much as possible and making up for all the other years I didn't go.

Although when you say people get really into the discussion it almost sounds like there might be the rantings of a few overzealous fanboys/girls here and there... >.<
